i've just watched australian idol and now i feel like
reviewing the show.. heheh.. so here goes:

tonight was pop night. most of them were all right..
but i could see a pattern there: most of them sounded
too much like the original singer, which is not good
if you wanna be a good singer.. you've gotta be original!
heheh.. and suddenly im the expert in these kinda things..

anyways, enter chanel cole. beautiful. beautiful.
unbelievably original. unlike most of the others who simply
imitated the original singers, she showed her own thing,
her own style, and that's why she should win! ;)
another thing i like about chanel is that she prefers
diminished chords, just like i do.. heheh.. gotta love her!
*self-confessed chanel freaky fan* btw, i voted for her twice
tonight.. o_0 heheh..

apart from the obviously amazing and original and cool and
creative and talented chanel (;p), there were also 2 other
people that i think will succeed as far as this competition goes;
they are ricki-lee and anthony. i reckon they will do so cuz
they got the looks and the voice, hence the fans.. but i still
reckon chanel will win! or should win, at least.. i wonder when
i'd be writing complaints about how chanel should've won and not
yada-yada.. ugh.. =p

okay, so earlier tonight i went out to grab something to eat..
just when i was walking down the street, a guy was arrested by
a couple of coppers. he was dragged across the street with his
pants down.. and he was struggling and fighting all along..
freak.. too bad i didn't take a picture of that scene! =)

anyways, when i was walking back from the food court, an ambulance
stopped right beside me! it was in front of kfc, and some paramedics
rushed in with all their tools and stuff.. there must've been an
accident of some sort cuz i saw them kneeling in the middle of the
stairs doing stuff.. this time i took a picture with my mobile! =)



very, very, very weird day indeed..

most of you will have heard of the suicide bombing that happened a good
couple of days ago [thursday, 09 sept 2004]. the bomb exploded in front
of the australian embassy in jakarta, indonesia, and many people were
either killed or fatally wounded.

totEm: as always, blames have been put on the jemaah islamiyah shitheads.
now, being a moslem myself, i feel so frustrated and enraged by this
pseudo-islamic terrorist organisation, one of many i assume.. i mean,
they do these things and claim them a crusade in the name of Islam..
fuckin' shitheads! killing innocents isn't battling to defend Islam, it's
just pure idiocy and brutality! i'm so speechless right now, words just
can't describe my feelings..

oh, while we're on the subject, today is the 3rd anniversary of the WTC
tragedy..

today was fun! heheh.. if you can consider a group meeting fun!
but yea, i reckon it was quite fun.. kinda exhausting but fun
nonetheless.. basically, i had a group meeting with me mates for
this course called food choice. we started like sometime before
noon, and finished around 7:30 if im not mistaken!! almost everyone
in our group had mixed kebab, which was really cool.. heheh..
also, there were helium balloons around where we hung out, so naturally,
we tried making funny voices! sylvia and jesslyn got so addicted it
was hilarious!! =p by the way, the group consists of anita, edwin, me,
sylvi, jess, and erlin! one crazy ass-kickin' group! heheh..
when we ran out of balloons in that place, sylvi and me stole some
more from the union store nearby, teehee.. =D it was a craic!!
oh and when almost everyone had gone home, sylvi and me got so bored
and frustrated with working with numbers that we went to the arcade
and played puzzle bubble and time crisis! jess was nearby, busy
gossipping with her perthian mate on her mobile.. oh yeah, we almost
went to see the village, but decided to do some other useful stuff,
i.e. jess went with her parents to makoto, a sushi train-like restaurant
[see totEm below], i went to the gym, and sylvi.. who knows what she
did.. =p

all in all, i reckon today was heaps fun! heheh.. tomorrow's gonna be
hell though! micro quiz and the group meeting continues!

totEm: it's so hateful in places like sushi train, where you have
to sit in front of the moving plates, if some stranger beside
you gets to the plate you've been waiting for first.. hateful!!
that happened to me tonight.. heheh.. twice! o_O

i'm just really homesick right now.. can't stand all the uni
shitties i still have to go through. i'm so exhausted..
but yea anyway, just to recap some of the interesting stuff
that happened these last few days:

>< friday i went to asink-kamili's house and played CSI: the
board game, fUn!! heheh.. and then later in the evening i
bought westlife's song online, this live version of flying
without wings.. very nice ne! and it was only for £0.99.. =)

>< saturday was biochem day.. or so i thought. well yea it was!
heheh.. what am i trying to say?? anyhoo.. alvin came to city
@ noon. we went to bestway travel cuz i gotta book my flight home
for december.. can't wait!! =o later we studied a bit of biochem
@ my place. then i had to go to helen's church's birthday thing.
there was a play and stuff.. uh oh this one's interesting! when
i was getting home from that place, it was raining ice! heheh..
hail or whatever u call it.. =p but yea, it was actually my first
time experiencing such a thing. very, very interesting indeed..
oh and then later sylvia, jesslyn, and erlin came to study more
biochem.. jesslyn stayed over.
